About Me

Gardening has been a passion of mine since I can remember. Growing up in Northern Indiana farm country, vegetable gardens were essential to get us through the long, cold winters. I came to Florida on vacation and fell in love with the ocean. I went back home, sold my house, packed up our bags and moved here in 1992. I have not regretted that decision one bit. I have one wonderful husband, three fantastic daughters (Angela, Kaycee, and Ginny), three glorious grandchildren (Dominic, Kyle, and Graicee). And I cannot forget my four-legged friends (three dogs and four cats) who have allowed me to be their human.

Welcome. My name is Shelly Langshaw the owner of Gaia’s Garden’n Gallery, a life-long dream that is coming true!

I graduated from University of Florida with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Horticulture in 2003. After graduation, I made a five–year goal for myself to have my own shop that would sell mainly native plants, organic gardening and household products, and feature local artists that may not have any other avenue to show their art. It started here on my website/online store and in August 2005 I opened a retail shop in Fort Walton Bch Florida. I’m lovin’ it!!!!
